The Year of the Snake

A reading list to celebrate the Lunar New Year

Hi šŸ‘‹

Welcome to The Lazy Readerā€™s themed specials!

If youā€™ve been around for a while, you know that Iā€™ve been trying (and mostly floundering) to get this themed reading list going. I realized that pulling these lists out of nowhere wasnā€™t sustainable.

So weā€™re trying something new this year.

Like the true content writer that I am, I came up with a content calendar for this year, with many of the important dates that people worldwide usually commemorate. Iā€™ll use those as themes for these Thursday lists.

Like this one, which is about MLK Jr. Day, which was yesterday.

Of course, this wonā€™t affect our weekly longform lists on Mondays.

Happy reading!

Happy Lunar New Year to those who celebrate!

I'm not one to subscribe to the tenets of astrology (I just know Iā€™m a Gemini, but have no idea what that means), but growing up, Iā€™ve always been more exposed to the Chinese zodiac. I know what my astrological animal is, for example, and what element it is. And what all of those things mean.
